Sprint may see Google Android Phone this Year.

Sprint hasn’t exactly been on board with android this past year saying it wasn’t quite ready for the market.  With the launch and buzz over the Palm Pre we thought Sprint might have lost sight of android all together. We were wrong! While speaking at a tech event in Pasadena Sprint CEO Dan Hesse announced that with the release of Android 1.5 they are “Glad we waited on Android” but “The reviews say now it’s ready for prime time”. He then proceeded to say a Google Phone would be available by the end of the year. HTC has some very good phones in the line up, I hoping Sprint will launch a version of the HTC Hero.
