Google Phones set sail to Costa Rica!

The google phone is making an explosive push to be world wide.  We reported a few days ago of Android based phones hitting Australia soon and now the next lucky country appears to be Costa Rica. Adolfo Arias, an ICE official, confirmed that the state telecom is negotiating with Google to have the phones in service in 2009. Arias noted that the negotiations are in the first stages but the outlook is good. Alberto Arébalos, Google communications director for Latin America, said that the arrival of the G1 is all dependent on ICE.  An exact price has not been mentioned however we can guess that it will be between $600-$800.
